Brickell Key Park: Take Your Run to Your Own Private Island
May 17, 2016 | bridge
Miami is home to quite a few wonderful parks, but Brickell Key Park is a favorite that sets itself apart from all the others. This scenic park is located on an island key off the coast of Miami itself, and it is connected by a small bridge that is very easy to access.
Many area runners enjoy the park for its 1.15-mile loop trail and its safe, scenic atmosphere, which offers some peace of mind while running alone. Sensor lights and paved walkways line the perimeter of the park, while the numerous sculptures rival the beautiful views of the nearby Miami skyline. Make your way around the entire island as you get in a great workout outdoors, or simply take a stroll with friends to admire one of the best sunsets in the Miami area.
Whether you’re looking for a great place to run, walk or simply spend the afternoon lounging in the grass, you can do it all at Brickell Key Park.
