Expect International Fare at Central Park Food Station
August 22, 2017 | bridge
Central Park Food Station brings some international flair to the concept of quick-serve food. Its popular chicken enrollado appears on the menu right alongside classic American eats like burgers, subs, and hot dogs. The enrollado is a pita-bread wrap stuffed with your choice of steak, chicken, smoked pork chop, or a combination of two. The meat mingles with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, mustard, ketchup, and signature Engy sauce. The result is a mouth-watering meal, according to Food Station customers.
If you're not interested in the enrollado, you can dig into crispy fried or healthier baked empanadas instead. They come stuffed with ingredients such as shredded chicken or beef, cheese and black beans, or ham and cheese. Adventurous eaters may want to try the more unusual empanadas, like the Margariteña—it's packed with shark meat and yellow plantain. Falafel wraps, kafta plates, and arepas (South American sandwiches) are just a few of the other eclectic menu items at Central Park Food Station.
