Ohana Sushi Serves Up Creative and Contemporary Japanese Fare

Not every sushi roll at Ohana Sushi requires rice. The popular Platano roll skips it all together, instead wrapped in crispy tempura and seaweed. Sweet plantain, salmon, crab, cream cheese, scallion, and avocado mingle on the inside of the roll, and Anguilla sauce and chopped crab embellish the top. It's no wonder why this unique, inventive tempura roll is a favorite among Ohana's customers.

And there are many other unexpected rolls to pick from at Ohana Sushi. The Dragon roll is a bit more traditional, a combination of crispy jumbo shrimp, unagi, and scallions wrapped in rice and capped off with avocado and Ohana sauce. The menu also showcases a special section of healthy options, such as the Mahalo salmon roll. Instead of rice, it comes swathed in lettuce with salmon, cucumber, and avocado on the inside, plus a drizzle of sweet and sour sauce. The quinoa roll features the ancient grain in lieu of rice, which surrounds crab, salmon, cucumber, and avocado.
